League of Legends is a serious MOBA game, but even summoners need to take a break and celebrate the most recent champion to enter the game with ear scratches and belly rubs.
Naafiri is the newest Darkin to join League's ever-growing roster of playable characters, and she takes the appearance of a vicious sand hound who is closely followed by her devoted pack.
She's also a lethal assassin who can reduce any squishy target's health to zero, whether she's hurling Tainted Blades at them or diving into the backline with her hounds.
However, before you attack, here's how you may give your nice dog a brief pet before she takes down the other team.
To activate the petting animation for Naafiri, simply hit their joke hotkey (CTRL + 1) twice.
This should start her first pet animation, which uses League's old hand cursor to pet the champion on the head. However, there are two more animations that can be activated in the same way.
After you've completed the first petting animation, hit your taunt hotkey (CTRL + 2) to begin the second petting animation.
When the second animation is finished, use your dancing hotkey (CTRL + 3) to access the third and final petting animation.
Then, you should be able to connect these petting motions such that the summoner's hand pats Naafiri's head, then scratches her neck till she collapses, and
then massages her tummy for the final animation. This is how to completely pet Naafiri in League, a mechanic I never expected to have to explain.
