McDonald's is gearing up for the release of its next exciting Happy Meal just as we're coming down from our Kerwin Frost high.
Squishmallows, which were previously available in select countries earlier this year, will finally make their way to McDonald's locations nationwide on December 26.
If you're unfamiliar with the plush world of Squishmallows, they're squishy toys for kids and adults, as the name implies. Consider squeezable stuffed animals that come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors.
Since 2017, they've left a mark on the hearts of fans all over the world, who want to collect them all like rare Pokemon.
McDonald's USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Tariq Hassan said, "We're all about connecting our fans to culture, and Squishmallows are some of the hottest toys out there."
"This collaboration welcomes McDonald's and Squishmallow fans alike to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience with the first McDonald's Squishmallows Squad, " he said.
McDonald's new Squishmallows Happy Meal is sure to excite fans. It includes 12 collectible characters, ten of which are fan favorites like Cam and FiFi, and two exclusive to McDonald's.
There will also be a mystery character for fans to hunt down. If the Happy Meal wasn't thrilling enough, Universal Music Group has created a playlist for each character.
