Some lucky McDonald's fans are getting a dessert never seen in the US.
The burger chain confirmed the arrival of a new Cookies & Crème Pie this week, days after rumors began spreading.
McDonald's new chocolate handheld Apple Pie has a chocolate cookie crumb crust, vanilla crème, and chocolate sandwich cookies.
According to Delish, McDonald's locations in Malaysia have provided this dessert before, but this is the first time it's come to America.
Last week, Snackolator, a food-focused Instagram account, mentioned the Cookies & Crème Pie. A few days later, McDonald's told TODAY.com
that the pies would launch in certain markets on July 14 for a limited time. The fast-food chain's new dessert is available in some areas.
Snackolator and TODAY.com report that Oklahoma, New Jersey, Ohio, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, and New York City will sell the pie.
